Salifest 2024

“Salifest 2024 was amazing and bigger than ever!”

“It could not be bettered!”

“really good, everyone was involved, whether they knew the language or not, they were just going with the flow, happy & enjoying, the venue was accessible & close to public transport, the food & teas was plenty”

“Absolutely enjoyed the drumming, enjoyed everything”

a vibrant community music festival for all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

The festival is held in memory of the late African drummer and Lewisham resident Salif Sylla whose love for music, culture and community inspired many lives locally and in Guinea. We are joined by local professional and amateur artists, community groups with music, dance, art work and craft making for children, food and stalls.
