12th Salifest

12th Salifest –  28.September 2019

  

With supporters generous donation we staged our 12th Salifest. A Big Thank You to the many volunteers making Salifest possible. As well as record number of visitors there were record number of helpers! We were

  • part of Catford Arts Trail
  • part of Creative Ageing Festival
  • Created Digital story about Salifest with photos by Ivan Angell
  • raised funds for projects in Guinea

  

Many people took part, including Lewisham Pensioners Ukulele group SMUG, a Primary school steel pan band Royal Steel and local secondary pupils with spoken word & piano piece. Our local MP, Janet Daby visited 2nd year in a row and delivered a lovely speech in support of us!
